Everybody likes potato in any form and my son's one of the favorite vegetable too. This is my mom's recipe and she used to make it frequently, when I was going to college since this is liked by all of my friends especially hostelites.Whenever she made this curry,I carried two lunch boxes (one box full of this curry and one lunch box for myself). This curry is  a favorite, not only for my friends its for me too.I like to have it with sambhar rice. The plumpy green peas and the aroma of ginger and garlic, spiciness from the chilly powder gives an excellent taste to this recipe.
