Chicken 65


 Chicken 65 is  a  mouth watering deep fried recipe which is liked by everyone.It is an excellent appetizer for parties.There are so many stories revolves around the chicken 65 why it has named so.The recipe which I have given below is for my family taste.




 Ingredients

Chicken(boneless) 1lb
Ginger&garlic paste 2tsp
Chilly powder2tsp
Garam masala powder1/2tsp
Curry leaves2 sprigs
Corn flour5tsp
Maida1tbs
Red food colora pinch
Lemon juice1 tbs
Coriander leavesto garnish
Oilfor frying
Saltto taste



Method

           Clean and cut the chicken into bite size pieces.Add ginger&garlic paste,chilly powder,garam masala, lemon juice and salt to the chicken pieces and marinate well. Keep it refrigerator for atleast 2-3 hrs.



Take out the marinated chicken from the refrigerator and mix in corn flour,maida, food color and curry leaves.Make sure all the chicken pieces are evenly coated with the flour.




Heat the oil in a pan and fry it in a medium flame till it becomes crispy.




Take out the cooked chicken pieces from the oil and drain it in a paper towel.




 Garnish it with coriander leaves and enjoy it.




  • Chicken breast works well for this recipe.
  • Yogurt can be added for extra sourness and chopped green chillies for spiciness.
  • Overnight marination gives a soft and tender chicken.
